Maxi Himpe

Maxi Himpe is a theatre director working across performance forms. They are interested in stretching our definitions of performance, working across genres such as cabaret, new writing, devising, and classic plays. They collaborate with communities and artists to explore themes like queerness, technology and politics. 

Their work has been presented at the Barbican, Hoxton Hall, Thames Festival, Oakland Theater Project, the Pleasance Theatre, and the Southbank. They hold administrative positions in arts fundraising and community programming, and are a Trustee at festival.org.
