Happy International Piano Day!
Part of our recent sold out Wild Card event at Sadler's Wells, Sebastian Reynolds has put together this special, vinyl only mix of piano and piano related music for your ears! The mix features works from master composers such as Erik Satie, John Cage and Olivier Messiaen alongside tuned percussion music from Thailand and Bali, and modern electronic acts Colleen and Aphex Twin. Enjoy!
Introducing Mahajanaka
We're super happy to be working in collaboration with Oxford based composer Sebastian Reynolds and the award winning Thai dance artist Pichet Klunchun on an evening of live traditional Thai music and dance, with a modern, contemporary twist! Informed by research trips to Bangkok exploring Jataka mythology in contemporary Thailand and subsequent studio time with our collaborative team at DanceXchange we're now into the final phase of development as we produce 'Mahajanaka' a retelling of a traditional Jataka tale. There will be a few opportunities to find out more about this international project kicking off at the Ashmolean Museum on the 15th February (12.30 - 1.30 in the lecture room - free to attend). Our preview performance will take place at Wiltshire Music Centre over the Easter weekend and you can pre book your tickets here:

Holy Island premieres on XLR8R
Earlier this year Neon's Adrienne Hart was invited to choreograph a music video for composer / producer Sebastian Reynolds. The team spent 3 days filming in Northumberland on the beautiful Holy Island of Lindisfarne with Pilgrims coffee fuelling the daily sunrise shoot.
