SONIC BODY by Neon Dance
Example
Festival of Tomorrow 2025
As part of our Arts Council England Project Grant funded R&D (2024-25), MIT research scientist & artist Ana Rajcevic, composer Sebastian Reynolds and Neon Dance choreographer Adrienne Hart designed two small scale prototypes made of kinetic wires, together with custom-made finger sensors to test at Swindon’s Designer Outlet as part of Festival of Tomorrow 2025. We engaged 1800 young people and worked with NPO Create Studios to capture the weeklong ‘lab’.

Praise for Neon’s current ACE supported touring work Last and First Men:
“Truly extraordinary” — Bristol 24/7
“What emerged was neither film nor dance nor concert, but a rare fusion of all three a hybrid performance that felt as immersive as it was unclassifiable… At its close, the silence in the room felt heavy, almost sacred, a testament to the lasting impression of this extraordinary event.”
— City Girl Network
“All of the elements – dance, film, music – came together so effectively. It’s a piece Neon should all be proud of.”
— Todd Wills, Artistic Director, Bristol Beacon
